We are very proud to share a major milestone for Kalia Health. Our team has been awarded a 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 to advance early detection of preeclampsia through the urinary biomarkers.

This support from the Gates Foundation represents a powerful validation of our scientific strategy and our mission to transform maternal health. Preeclampsia remains a leading cause of maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality worldwide. Earlier and more accessible diagnostics have the potential to change outcomes for millions of women and babies.

For a small startup, this is an extraordinary step forward. We are generating strong scientific traction, building meaningful partnerships, and demonstrating that ambitious innovation can come from focused and mission driven teams. This grant accelerates our ability to translate breakthrough science into real impact for mothers across the globe.
